Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of client-facing software implementation and services projects, ensuring alignment with agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

You will oversee project execution, manage cross-functional teams, risks, resources, and client expectations while driving delivery performance and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation, and delivery schedules
• Track project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes, ensuring timely resolution and escalation
• Manage client communication, expectations, and project-related stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, aligning priorities, responsibilities, and resource capacity with Team Leads
• Coordinate and monitor project testing and acceptance activities, working closely with MES Consultants, Delivery Engineers and Technical Teams to ensure alignment with project timelines, deliverables, and quality objectives
• Collaborate with MES Consultants, Delivery Engineers, Account Managers, and department leadership to ensure alignment between client requirements, technical solutions, and business objectives
• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, providing visibility into progress, risks, budgets, and delivery performance
• Facilitate project meetings, reviews, retrospectives, and other project management activities
• Facilitate and coordinate the requirements definition process, working closely with MES Consultants and customers to ensure alignment between business needs, manufacturing processes, and technical solutions
• Ensure compliance with internal project management standards, methodologies, and delivery practices
• Organize handing over of completed projects to OLSOM’s ITSM organization
• Conduct project after action reviews, contribute to respective knowledge base and continuous project delivery improvement process
• Contribute to PMO development, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of project management processes

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management within IT, software development, or technology services
• Proven experience managing client-facing software development, implementation, or integration projects
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software delivery processes
• Practical experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies
• Experience managing projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering and planning to implementation, go-live, and handover
• Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and delivery risks
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Strong understanding of project governance, planning, reporting, and delivery management
• Ability to manage scope changes, dependencies, competing priorities, and delivery challenges
• Excellent client communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher, with confidence in professional client communication

• Experience in manufacturing IT, MES, ERP, or industrial software implementation projects
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, Industry 4.0, and ISA-95 standards. Familiarity with integrations between MES, ERP, SCADA/HMI, and other enterprise systems
• Experience working with international clients and geographically distributed teams
• PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or other relevant project management certifications
